ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) to join our team. The Junior QA will work to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting manual and automated tests on software applications to identify defects, bugs, or issues.
- Assisting in the documentation and reporting of matters identified using designated tracking tools.
- Collaborating closely with senior QA team members to understand testing procedures and methodologies.
- Learning and adapting to various testing tools and techniques to enhance testing processes.
- Participating in team meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and insights for improving testing procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within the team.
- Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools (knowledge of Jira, TestRail, and Soap UI is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.
